Class 1:  Box-stock Scalextric High Impact cars. 

This is the entry-level, lowest-cost class.  It uses some of the most durable and cost effective RTR (ready to run) cars available today.  The cars in this class retail for $25-30, and they are as close to bulletproof as plastic RTR cars can be. The cars are models of Porsche Boxsters, Audi TT coupes, BMW Minis, Ferrari F430s, and Lamborghini Gallardos.  Race them exactly as they come out of the box, with no performance modifications of any kind.  They are fast enough to be fun, good handling, and easy to drive in completely stock form.   They are especially well suited for children.
